"Hey SAGGIT!"

Absolutely no fat to trim. I've always respected most of you and have new found respect for those who weren't on that mental list before. A lot of work went into this. Chinese sweatshop workers are like "Dude, what's yo probrem take a tea break."

This reminds me of Beavis and Butthead's Spanish teacher. Will you make more?

"A mixed bag, worth a few runs."

date: December 17, 2008

This sequel is greatly appreciated, as you seem to have listened to much of the other ideas of the earlier installment. It was entertaining to play all the way through. I did encounter some problems during the game though. There was a graphic glitch in which the characters lower body would disappear sometimes, I don't know why. I also must agree that the character could revive after every round when killed, but with 1HP, and heal with a turn through a cleric. They do it that way with nearly every other RPG out there. I'm not going to complain about the difficulty as you can get the hang of it eventually after a few attempts. This sequel had a lot of improvements and pluses, but it's still got room for more. One last thing, sometimes when you're directly "south" or "north" an enemy, it doesn't give you the option to attack them. I don't understand this rule. Could you explain it?

However, the bottom line is, there was always a reason to fight for the next level to see what was going to be there. Keep it up.

Straw Hat Samurai

"Worth a play."

submission: Straw Hat Samurai

A sequel is a good idea. Consider looking into the following:
The gameplay felt clunky, mainly because of the scrolling. It would have worked better had the view been centered around the character all the time, until he reached the edge of the battle environment. That, in addition to dashing [by hitting an arrow twice] would have made it a bit smoother.

Good additions to the enemy list are included, but not limited to: ninja, kabuki tricksters, tengu, karate henchmen, ronin midbosses and oni.

The next thing I really need to talk about is the music. It was barely a minute long and it is the same music throughout the game. What's worse, there's no mute button to be found. It became rather distracting. This kind of music also makes the game say "This is a soap opera" instead of "If you're wearing green, I'm cutting you to shreds". If you don't use biwa strumming or taiko drums, ambience would suit this game well.

The shadow silhouette death made me consider the possibility of desperation moves and low health desperation moves. It would kill the monotony of just strike. Strike. Strike again.

I voted. Good luck on the contest. Please make more in the future. This can't be all you have.

"Bittersweet"

date: September 28, 2008

The concept is alright. Not enough face customizations [no Hank goggles?] and no option to change the background. There's no way to mute the music, which I'm sure most people don't enjoy or are sick of by now. Ambience would have been better.

I also would have added more guns, but that's just me.

Oh, PLEASE make a full movie and release it on DVD. Hell, I'd buy it!

Testing this flash for its accuracy on would be like dividing by 0.

Some parts were funny and other parts induced a facepalm, namely the ones with no punchline.
The ride's fun while it lasts, though.

2 - The Story of Khale

"Hopeful..."

date: September 15, 2008

This looks like it could be a good series, so please don't let this be a Goku/DBZ knock off with overpowered characters and one dimensional "I'm getting more powerful" plots. "The Story of Khale" makes it look like it's going to be more artistic and stay clear away from that.
I really like this style, I'm not putting your work down in any way. I'm just making a few observations. I know how mind bending working on a fictional story can be.
The flash itself is perfect. This is merely a piece and there is no fat to trim. What I'm pondering is what this is building up to; Khale as an adult. We see it briefly when he fights ceO and Fooh. The problem I see with the development is he seems to become invincible. His execution is flawless. He's never hurt, so it isn't suspenseful or gritty. He doesn't have any dialogue exchange, so there's no personality.
Yes, I am aware that that particular segment was done for a school course, but it was uploaded as "part of the story". Feel free to correct me wherever I'm mistaken. Cheers!

In a sense, it's almost like C&H have been brought to life. No, the parody that aired on Robot Chicken doesn't count. You kept its integrity, and while I imagined C&H with more of a punk theme, this one's good too, especially with the way you put it together.

There's another comic strip on the web called "Sinfest". It's like a more evolved C&H and it's updated every day. It's got years worth of stuff, you'll probably get a kick out of it.
